Tournament Packing Checklist
One list for everything that has to make it onto the bus: coach binder, student materials, devices, snacks, forms, and the pit or table boxes.
What you'll need
Have these numbers handy.
Before you share
- Leave out private student, family, payment, tax, credential, medical, and emergency-contact details. Initials or labels work fine.
- Double-check rules, forms, fees, schedules, safety, and eligibility on the official program, school, and event pages.
- Your work saves in this browser when supported — download a backup for anything you'd hate to lose.

Assumptions
What this tool assumes.
- Use item names and owner roles only; keep student names, phone numbers, medical details, emergency contacts, addresses, travel manifests, and private family information outside SciPacket.
- Official rules, venue restrictions, safety requirements, pit/table rules, forms, battery/tool/device policies, food policies, and schedules must be checked at official sources.
- Status labels are local planning labels and do not confirm that a venue, school, or tournament will accept the item.
- The checklist helps review load-in readiness; you still need local approval, adult supervision, transport planning, and safety review.
The math
How the numbers are figured.
- Needed quantity defaults to 1 for a planned row when omitted.
- Packed quantity defaults to 0 and is capped at needed quantity for readiness calculations.
- Remaining quantity = needed quantity minus packed quantity, clamped at zero.
- Rows marked packed, ready, loaded, done, or not needed are treated as ready.
- Not-needed rows do not count against remaining units.
- High-priority missing rows include high, critical, must-have, or required items with remaining units.
- Category readiness totals rows, ready rows, packed units, needed units, remaining units, and ready percent by category.
